HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Description:
Most high schools and colleges in the area and the surrounding areas are running a similar program to Bigger, Faster, Stronger (BFS).  We at Up The Middle Training concentrate on the same technique, form and absolutes, but in a smaller more focused group setting. We incorporate into the strength and conditioning program the basic foundation core lifts; these include proper bench press, squats and dead lifts. In addition to the basic core lifts, we take an innovative approach toward functional exercise by utilizing multi-joint training. This method aids in working and growing the muscles in a completely different way which in return helps improve your basic core lifts.

$60 per month for 1 class per week

We shape and mold well rounded athletes by teaching proper running mechanics, jumping mechanics, athletic stance, acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction.

You can learn the basics of a sport how to swing a bat, kick a soccer ball, shoot a basketball, etc., but learning how to become a well rounded athlete is what sets you apart from the average player. Everyone is looking for that extra edge with playing sports so why not take the opportunity with the Up the Middle training program to get that extra advantage.

Testimonials

Mia is an active 10 year old who loves softball. In the middle of May she had a severe asthma attack that landed her in the hospital. Her dad and I started noticing little things after her asthma attack. She had a hard time catching her breath after running and it was a struggle for her to just run the bases. I contacted Jeremiah through a mutual friend and she started the class in July. The first class for her was extremely hard. She struggled in running but Jeremiah ran right beside her cheering her on. Only two short weeks after starting the Agility class, her softball coach who had just seen her the week before, comments about Mia’s endurance and hustle. Mia had made huge improvements and her coach noticed. Jeremiah’s Agility class has given Mia the strength and tools to help her become a better ball player. She always looks forward to exercising and running.

Jeremiah delivers! My 13 year old son lives to play baseball and become a better pitcher. Another baseball parent mentioned Jeremiah might be a good local resource for some pitching help and overall athletic training. I was able to get a hold of high quickly, he was eager to meet us, assess my son’s current abilities and opportunities, and explained his programs/methods with such genuine interest in bettering each individual he works with. My son began sessions with him 1-2 times per week and quickly improved what was a couple of shaky, inconsistent pitches to consistent movements and form, more pitches, and a bigger drive to improve! Jeremiah isn’t one who teaches from a distance he leads by example, gives feedback often, and is very encouraging. Well, I can tell my son was hooked right away and has worked 1-on-1 with Jeremiah this summer, in his new training facility, and will continue to work with him as long as he’ll have us!

When my son showed the ability to move from little league to the next level and I had gone as far as I could with my coaching ability as a parent I went looking for help. Since going to Jeremiah my son has maintained a high batting average and consistently hits 4th or 5th in the lineup. Not only has Jeremiah helped my son grow as a hitter at each level but we have also taken advantage of his speed and agility classes which have helped my son in so many ways. I do not feel my son would be where he is today had in not been for Jeremiah’s help, advice, and hard work along the way. Very happy client for over 5 Years.

Jeremiah has been my personal trainer for over 5 years. I contacted Jeremiah for his help following some personal changes in my life. The results I achieved were largely due to Jeremiah’s perfect combination of diverse training methods, individualized exercise programs & challenging yet achievable goal setting. His professionalism, extensive knowledge and enthusiastic commitment to his work and ultimately his clients, provides the perfect scenario for success and sets foundations for a new healthier lifestyle! I lost a total of 70 lbs while achieving goals to gain functional strength that I use in everyday life.

Jeremiah Bergheger has been my hitting instructor for the past 8 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me with my swing, approach at the plate and overall baseball IQ. I have received several compliments from trainers and coaches on my stance and swing over the years. He has played a big part in my progression which has allowed me to compete at all levels.
